The HNC/D offers a cost-effective opportunity for the learner to study locally for two years before moving on to university to complete a top up year and fully achieve a Degree in Business. If you are interested in studying leadership, this course will develop your knowledge and understanding of how to successfully lead a team. You will develop knowledge of the principles of team leading and the general workings of a business as well as how important it is for a team leader to successfully communicate with a range of stakeholders.
If you are inspired to explore a career in Business then this introduction to Business course will give you an excellent base on which to develop skills in areas such as business presentation skills, personal and business organisational skills, experience of work, personal communication skills and team working skills. You will also take part in planning and running a project to gain real-life experience as you learn. The learning programme usually takes place over 3 days per week and will include the opportunity to study Maths and English to further add to your skills and qualifications.
