This course combines the fundamental engineering knowledge you require to succeed in a multitude of engineering roles, alongside a work placement and practical skills program developed in tandem with local employers to ensure you have the experience to get ahead in the engineering world. Learners applying for the Engineering T-Levels (whether it is Mechanical or Electrical) have the option specialise in either of these routes in the second year.

Our Level 2 Engineering Technology course focuses on engineering workshop techniques and procedures - using lathes, mills, drills, and hand fitting, for example. Modern engineering requires good computer skills, so our course covers this too.
