We strongly believe that all our students can succeed when there is a shared commitment between tutors, students, employers, and parents/carers.

Therefore, the ability to see your young person's progress in real-time, providing you with opportunities to ask questions and check acquired knowledge and skills, would demonstrate your genuine interest in their college journey and a collective drive towards excellence and ambition.

To facilitate this, we use an interactive online service called ProPortal. ProPortal is an electronic Individual Learning Plan (ILP) system. Every student in the college has an ILP that is continuously updated throughout the year by students and tutors. ProPortal details important information, such as:

  • Timetables
  • Attendance & punctuality summary
  • Progress on coursework, achievements, and targets for development
  • Access to parent/carer reports
  • Tutor & student comments & meetings

ProPortal is a web-based application accessed from any computer or electronic device with an internet connection. To access ProPortal, complete the online registration form by clicking the ProPortal Registration link below. Once registration has been approved, an account will be created, and you can click on the ProPortal Login link below. Account creation can take up to five working days following registration.

Providing parents/carers access to ProPortal can ensure that your young person can continue to learn independently, knowing that you are up to date with their progress and providing a positive environment and support behind the scenes. ProPortal also provides a valuable way for tutors to flag any issues so parents/carers can decide whether some intervention is required. Students have access to the same information, which is essential to demonstrate our honesty and respect.
