You will study a range of practical and classroom-based technical and creative media. Besides gaining insight into cameras, location filming, lighting and sound, you will also learn about your place within a thriving media economy.
You will be treated as a filmmaker from day one, and will make a variety of films that will challenge you to discover a voice of your own. This course is intense, fun and practical, teaching you the fundamental processes used in all film production. In combination with a basic understanding of film analysis, you will work on a variety of group productions to develop skills in generating and planning ideas, recording audio and video, completing editing and post-production, and engaging in critical self-analysis. By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge you need to push your filmmaking forward.
