Our NHS Supported Internship Pathway, winner of the 2025 Golden Apple Award for Best Inclusion Initiative, is helping young people build the skills and confidence to move into employment – against a national backdrop where fewer than 5% of people with a learning disability known to local authorities are in paid work. 

With GCSE results day fast approaching, Kendal College is encouraging young people and their families to take time to explore all of their post-16 options and choose the pathway that is right for them.
