Course Overview

You will spend practical sessions with your tutor who is a qualified Microsoft Expert. During the sessions you will watch demonstrations and then complete tasks yourself to learn the various tools and techniques that Microsoft Office has to offer. You will be fully supported with your learning and your tutor will guide you through each task, assisting you where needed. The learning takes place in a very supportive environment.

You will gain the qualification by completing a portfolio of work, which will be assessed by your tutor/assessor. For each unit you will collect evidence, which will be practical examples of your IT work created during the sessions and questionnaires to cover the knowledge.

There are no exams.

Entry Requirements

To embark on the level 3 course, you need to have some existing IT skills and knowledge. Ideally you will have completed a level 2 IT qualification, but this is not essential.

After Your Course

On completion of the course, you should have the skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Software confidently in an office environment. You will have learnt many tips and tricks to improve your productivity and make you more efficient in any office task.
