Stagecoach passes.
The bus pass entitles you to travel to & from college on Stagecoach public services, Monday to Friday, during term time only. You will not be allowed to travel on the bus without a bus pass. Replacement passes will only be given in exceptional circumstances.
You will need to collect your spring and summer passes from reception before the end of the previous term. Please read the Bus Charter below, which sets out the responsibilities of Stagecoach, the college and all passengers.
Timetables
For the 955 (Lancaster) and 6C (Barrow), see kendal.ac.uk/bus.
For all other timetables, please check the Stagecoach website for information. Go to ‘Timetables’ and input your route number.
If you live on the X6/6C route, have morning lessons and need to arrive at college for 9:00am:
- If you live west of Ulverston (e.g. Barrow), then you should use the 6C service.
- If you live in Ulverston and anywhere to the east (e.g. Grange-Over-Sands), you should use the X6 service.
Bus stops
The bus station is the nearest bus stop for Arts & Media Campus students.
If you are at the Milnthorpe Road Campus, there are bus stops along Milnthorpe Road. The bus stop is outside the college entrance if you are travelling north to return home. If you are travelling south to return home (e.g. you live in Milnthorpe), you can catch the bus from:
- Near K-Village – go out of college and turn left down Milnthorpe Road. The bus stop is just after the Chinese near the river. There is space to wait and a bench.
- After the traffic lights – go out of college and turn right down Milnthorpe Road. The bus stop is directly outside a residential property and space to wait is limited. If using this stop, please be respectful to the local community and don’t stand in private driveways or lean on walls. Please also allow space for pedestrians to pass.
Please make a clear signal to the driver that you want to board a bus, e.g. an outstretched arm. Otherwise, the driver may think you are waiting for another service and go past you.
