Each week our students will prepare a three-course menu from seasonal ingredients.
The restaurant hosts various special events during the year, including guest chef evenings, food festivals, and seasonal events. See our brochure for a complete list of dates.
Vegetarian & vegan options are always available, and we can accommodate most special dietary requirements, but please let us know in advance.
Sample 3-course lunch menu
Our three-course lunch menu, including coffee, is available for £17 per person.
Starters
A choice of either:
- Cauliflower cheese soup, roasted hazelnuts, parmesan croutons
- Toasted crumpet, poached egg, bearnaise sauce, Cumbrian air-dried ham
- Terrine of confit guinea fowl and chicken legs, sweet corn relish, jalapeno mayonnaise
Main courses
A choice of either:
- Braised short rib of beef, celeriac, crispy kale, potato galette, red wine and shallot gravy
- Beer battered fish and chips, mushy peas, vinegar salt, tartare sauce
- Roasted butternut squash, beetroot, Jerusalem artichokes, whipped feta, pistachio crumb, sourdough toast, citrus salsa verde
Desserts
A choice of either:
- Mascarpone mousse, passion fruit sorbet
- Mango tarte, mango sorbet, honey tuille
- Vanilla panna cotta, poached rhubarb, ginger cake, rhubarb granita

Our four-course tasting menu, including coffee, is available in the evenings for £28 per person.
