Our stunning performance venue is famous for its ‘twisted cube’ slate construction and is available for live performances, lectures, comedy, presentations, product launches and for recording/broadcast and cinema screenings.
Our outstanding facilities include a tensioned cinema screen with high definition projection, Traxion surround sound system, (5.1), a comprehensive theatrical lighting system with over 100 fixtures and 116 dimmer channels. Superb and configurable acoustics, raked seating and full air conditioning for a comfortable environment for audience and performers alike.
The venue is ideally situated, within close proximity of Kendal bus and train stations, Kendal town centre and also has ample parking available in its two car parks.
Raked seating provides accommodation for an audience of up to 140 in a variety of configurations, with additional staging available as required. A full range of microphones are available for music events, and a music band backline can be hired at additional cost.
The excellent acoustics and full blackout make it an ideal venue for live video and sound recording. A complete professional recording service can be provided for you at an additional cost.
Use of the theatre’s green room is included with all bookings, and the on-level loading facilitates an easy setup.
