Anna Harrison

Beauty Therapy Lecturer

I have a great passion for the industry and a thirst for self-development. I still work at the 4* Spa where I meet and treat clients from around the world and at the Beauty & Aesthetic salon in Kendal where I provide treatments to local customers.

The spectrum of the clientele and a variety of services keeps me abreast of the latest industry developments, trends, client needs and also employers’ expectations. This experience enables me to provide the essential training for our students (Level 1 up to Level 4), and to assist them in developing the necessary skills needed to embark on a glowing career within the beauty industry.

Fiona Thompson

Complementary Therapy Lecturer

Emily Cottam

Hairdressing Lecturer

Emily is passionate about hairdressing and feels that the industry is always evolving with new styles, techniques and products. Emily wants her students to feel the same way she did when she was first introduced to the industry and passes on her passion for her work.

Christopher Costello

Hair Technician

Christopher is an ex-student turned employee of the House of Hair & Beauty Kendal College. Having been working in the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry since 2005, totalling 12+ years, Christopher has gained qualifications in a variety of areas, including Hairdressing to a Level 3 standard, Complimentary and Holistic Massage Therapy, Reiki Therapy and Crystal Therapy.

At the House of Hair & Beauty Christopher's role as a Hair Technician predominantly is to support both students and staff in their development and learning at the college whilst also allowing him to ensure the most effective use of all resources available to the House of Hair & Beauty and to Kendal College. Christopher’s role also brings with it the chance to keep the salon environment modern by introducing new products, techniques and open days both at the college and away at The Wella academies in London and Manchester.

As a Hair Technician, Christopher daily facilitates the development of our talented young students, promoting their growth as individuals and their skills as hairdressers, whilst working alongside our highly trained Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy Tutors.
