Course Overview
This qualification is part of a full-time programme, studying 3 or 4 A-Level subjects and/or AAQs.
A-Level Law develops knowledge and understanding of the English Legal system. Students will learn how laws are made, interpreted and applied; study, evaluate and apply case law developed by the judiciary and analyse how well our legal system delivers justice. Students will be required to confidently express their views (backing them up with evidence) and to reflect on up-to-date issues in modern society.
In addition to learning substantive law, many students enjoy the practical application of the subject, which encourages a critical evaluation of material encountered in their everyday lives. How do we decide who is right and who is wrong?
