Principles, practices and legislation for the Periodic Inspection Testing and Condition Reporting of Electrical Installations.

The awarding bodies providing this are City & Guilds or EAL.

Kendal are currently running these with EAL.

This includes learning outcomes about safe isolation, inspection, safe testing, pre-energised and energised tests; documentation and the practical use of test equipment.

There is a multiple choice online assessment and a half day practical assessment.

Entry Requirements

This award is ideal for qualified electricians wishing to update their knowledge of electrical installation techniques. Level 3 is ideal if you are a qualified electrician and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge.
