Entry Requirements

You don't need any experience of working in accounts to study AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping. There are no specific academic entry requirements, but you do need good English, maths and IT skills. Most importantly you need to be committed to the course and a willingness to learn.

In addition to the course fees, students need to join the AAT as a student member. This costs GBP65 and is payable directly to AAT. This gives you access to AAT online resources and must be paid at the start of your course.

The course fee includes your tuition for the academic year and exam entry fees. Additional charge will be made for any resits required (GBP60 per resit). The course cost includes printed course notes. Students are encouraged to purchase text books (offered at a discounted rate) to support out of class study.
Students must complete the course in the academic year.

After Your Course

On completion of this course, you may progress into employment in the industry or work for yourself.
