The successful candidate(s) will have experience of working within an additional learning support setting. They will hold the required qualification, or be committed to achieving the fast track Level 7 qualification, to carry out Exam Access Arrangement Assessments, as determined by JCQ regulations.
They will build strong, positive working relationships with a supportive and collaborative team, and professional services who share the common goal of providing a meaningful educational experience.
They will have excellent organisational and time-management skills and be able to prioritise work effectively to meet objectives and deadlines. They will be comfortable with, and proactively adapt to rapid changes in educational trends within the sector. They will be able to plan and prioritise their own schedule of work to achieve objectives, have strong IT skills and happy to be part of a close-knit team with shared objectives.
Job Overview
The role involves conducting assessments for exam access arrangements and completing the necessary documentation to ensure compliance with JCQ regulations. It also includes supporting all learners in effectively accessing their programme of study, regardless of any specific learning differences or disabilities. Additionally, the role is responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
