Are you experienced in delivering practical indoor and outdoor sports activities and Uniformed Public/Protective Services?
The successful applicant will be able to teach individual and team sports and have an active knowledge of fitness.
With strong leadership, management, and organisational skills, the candidate will be able to inspire, champion, and develop sports students within the area. This is an exceptional opportunity to work as part of a very successful team that strives to maximise the students’ potential in reaching their targets.
The successful candidate will themselves be educated to degree level or equivalent and capable of sharing their knowledge with our students in an engaging and informative manner that benefits their passion for the subject.
Teaching experience is desirable, but we are looking for someone who is confident in sharing their experience and knowledge with our students. We would support you in gaining a formal teaching qualification alongside your work with us.
Job Overview
- Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a variety of curriculum disciplines.
- Curriculum Development: Lead the development of specific subjects within the curriculum, ensuring content is current and industry-relevant.
- Research & Consultancy: Engage in significant research and consultancy activities to enhance the academic and practical learning experience.
- Course Verification & Leadership: Oversee course verification processes, coordinate course teams, and provide leadership to ensure high educational standards.
- Impactful Role: Play a crucial role in shaping the future of the related industry by mentoring and educating the next generation of skilled professionals.
- Classroom Management: To ensure student retention and achievement targets are met, provide a safe and healthy environment in which to work and learn, and ensure that adequate resources and materials are provided to enhance learning, thereby enriching the opportunity and experience of learners.
