The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software and hands-on experience in network support.

They will build strong, positive working relationships with a supportive and collaborative team and professional services that share the goal of providing a meaningful educational experience.

They will have excellent organisational and time-management skills and can prioritise work effectively to meet objectives and deadlines. They will be comfortable with and proactively adapt to rapid changes in educational trends within the sector. They will be able to plan and prioritise their own schedule of work to achieve objectives, have strong IT skills, and be happy to be part of a close-knit team with shared objectives.

The role is to ensure the seamless operation of our network infrastructure to support the wider IT team in resolving technical issues and improving network performance and efficiency.

      What we're looking for

      Qualifications

      Essential Desirable
      GCSE 4/C qualifications or equivalent in Maths and English IT qualification

      Experience

      Essential Desirable
      Experience of working in a customer service environment
      Experience of installation and maintenance of IT and media equipment

      Knowledge & Skills

      Well presented and able to communicate with staff and students at all levels A keen interest in and aptitude for IT
      ICT literate Basic network skills
      Ability to contextualise IT and technical knowledge for all users Able to install and un-install applications
      Good working knowledge of Windows and Office products
      Good troubleshooting skills and solving basic IT problems
      Ability to work well with colleagues and contribute to an effective team
