Job Overview

As an IT Network Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operational responsibility for the college’s IT systems. This includes overseeing network design, implementation, monitoring, security, troubleshooting, and providing ongoing support to ensure maximum uptime and reliability. You will also be tasked with managing a team of network professionals and ensuring the network meets the college's operational requirements.

The main areas of professional responsibility include desktop and application support, server and network support, continuity, maintenance and security, support request management, internal support and arrangements and safeguarding and GDPR.

      What we're looking for

      Qualifications

      Essential Desirable
      GCSE 4/C or equivalent in Maths and English Degree or similar level of qualification in relevant area

      Experience

      Essential Desirable
      Considerable technical experience and expertise across a broad spectrum of IT considerations, applications and areas Experience in supporting the use of IT in educational or administrative settings
      Experience of management of a large IT network
      Experience of working with IT service providers and partners to agreed Service Level Agreement (SLAs)
