We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprenticeship Facilitator to coordinate and monitor the progress of apprentices.

The successful candidate will provide advice, support and mentorship for apprentices, liaising with others to ensure they progress toward completing their apprenticeship in compliance with College policies and procedures. They will build strong, positive working relationships with a supportive and collaborative team and professional services that share the goal of providing a meaningful educational experience.

They will have excellent organisational and time-management skills and can prioritise work effectively to meet objectives and deadlines. They will be comfortable with and proactively adapt to rapid changes in educational trends within the sector. They will be able to plan and prioritise their own schedule of work to achieve objectives, have strong IT skills, and be happy to be part of a close-knit team with shared objectives.

Job Overview

  • Coordinate and monitor the progress of apprentices using the college’s processes, review apprentices’ progress on a timely basis, and ensure that apprentices complete their apprenticeship.
  • To provide employers with information and advice about the benefits of having an apprentice, liaise with them about their apprentices’ progress, and highlight where concerns arise about this, all in line with Skills Funding Agency requirements.
  • All staff are responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

      Qualifications

      Essential Desirable
      Level 3 qualified Key Skills Level 3 or equivalent
      GCSE Maths and English at Grade A to C, or equivalent at Level 2 Higher-level qualifications
      Assessor and Verifier Awards

      Delivery of work based training in work place or College environment

      Ability to travel to apprenticeship workplaces Working on marketing and customer-related tasks

Employment at the college is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check via the Disclosure and Barring Service, and any post in regulated activity will also be subject to an additional barred list check.
