The successful candidates will have experience working within an FE setting and with young people in careers or personal development roles.

They will build strong, positive working relationships with a supportive and collaborative team and professional services that share the goal of providing a meaningful educational experience.

They will have excellent organisational and time-management skills and can prioritise work effectively to meet objectives and deadlines. They will be comfortable with and proactively adapt to rapid changes in educational trends within the sector. They will be able to plan and prioritise their own schedule of work to achieve objectives, have strong IT skills, and be happy to be part of a close-knit team with shared objectives.

Job Overview

The post holder will operate within the team, coordinating work experience and industry placements and supporting the college in meeting the Gatsby benchmarks.

Working within a small team you will proactively work with employers, curriculum & support staff, and students to source, administer and monitor high quality 35-hour work experience and T-Level industry placements for students. You will then help set and monitor student targets with curriculum staff and encourage and develop enrichment activities.

    Qualifications

    Essential Desirable
    Level 3 qualification in relevant discipline or be willing to work towards it Up to Level 6 in careers or willingness to work towards
    English and Maths (GCSE A* to C or equivalent) or Literacy and Numeracy qualifications IT Level 2 or above
