They will build strong, positive working relationships with a supportive and collaborative team and professional services that share the goal of providing a meaningful educational experience.
They will have excellent organisational and time-management skills and can prioritise work effectively to meet objectives and deadlines. They will be comfortable with and proactively adapt to rapid changes in educational trends within the sector. They will be able to plan and prioritise their own schedule of work to achieve objectives, have strong IT skills, and be happy to be part of a close-knit team with shared objectives.
Job Overview
The Catering Technician role will be an integral part of ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality service. The position involves working within college hospitality functions, courses, and services, as well as the cafes, including all aspects of food preparation, food service, kitchen and canteen hygiene, and other duties associated with food service operations.
The successful candidate will have experience ordering, receiving, storing and issuing catering supplies.
The successful candidate will work within the catering team to ensure high customer service and best value and work within tight budget constraints.
All staff are responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
