An opportunity has arisen for a reliable and motivated Estates Assistant to join our Estates team. They will build strong, positive working relationships with a supportive and collaborative team and professional services that share the goal of providing a meaningful educational experience.
They will have excellent organisational and time-management skills and can prioritise work effectively to meet objectives and deadlines. They will be comfortable with and proactively adapt to rapid changes in educational trends within the sector. They will be able to plan and prioritise their work schedule to achieve objectives and be happy to be part of a close-knit team with shared goals.
Job Overview
Demonstrating a high standard of dedication, the ideal candidate will help maintain the college’s high standards of repair, maintenance, and cleanliness of the college’s overall estates. The Estates Assistant role is for someone flexible and enjoys being in a busy and varied role. They will ensure a safe learning/working environment for staff, students, and visitors by maintaining a visible presence on site, challenging unknown persons, and maintaining safe access and egress of all college buildings. The role will involve an element of working between the 3 college campuses.
All staff are responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
