Science is linked to a wide range of apprenticeships, across a variety of industries, such as healthcare and manufacturing.
At Kendal College, we have invested heavily in sciences, with our apprentices benefitting from modern facilities, industry standard equipment and teaching from former industry professionals. Learning is delivered both in the classroom, laboratory and in the workplace to support learner’s development in analysing data, carrying out experiments and working safely and professionally in their industry.

Pharmacy technician apprentices need to develop a broad set of skills to support the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services. These include assembling and dispensing medicines accurately, managing stock and labelling, and using pharmacy IT systems. They should gain experience in advising patients and healthcare professionals, handling queries, and maintaining confidentiality. Apprentices must also learn to supervise others, work independently, and apply professional judgement in both routine and complex tasks.
