Course Overview

This qualification ensures you are up-to-date with the latest industry regulation on wiring and the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. It covers the 18th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations. These regulations are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS767).

If you're a practicing electrician, you must comply with the regulations for electrical work, this qualification is designed to provide those seeking progression in their career with the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to carry out job roles and responsibilities associated with the Electrotechnical industry.

During your study you will focus on meeting the standards of the latest IEE Wiring Regulations, including, essential aspects of the safety, selection and erection of electrical equipment Inspection and testing.

You will complete an online multiple choice exam 60 questions, duration 2 hours.

Entry Requirements

This qualification is designed to provide those seeking progression in their career with the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to carry out job roles and responsibilities associated with the Electrotechnical industry. This could be someone who either already works within the electrical industry or has a good understanding of electrical installation.

After Your Course

The Certificate is essential for all practicing electricians or those who haven't achieved a qualification against the last amendment of the 17th edition. It could also lead to a career as an inspector or surveyor. You could move on to qualifications in Inspection and Testing.

£475.00

The fee displayed is the course fee. Course fees are per year for full-time & degree-level courses and per course for part-time courses. There may be other costs associated with this course, e.g. kit, equipment, books, trips etc.

This course is not funded by the government and is full cost. As such, the course is the price stated for all students. If you are paying for your course, there may be the option to pay in instalments if the course fees are over £200 and the course duration is 15 weeks or more.
