Why did you choose this course?
I always wanted to be a Joiner. Kendal College is local and was recommended by the school.

Is College like you had expected. If not, why?
There is more freedom than school and I am able to focus on one subject.

What do you most enjoy about College life?
You get treated like an adult.

What opportunities have you had as a student at the College?
They arranged work experience at Cox and Allen and I was offered an Apprenticeship as a result of this.

What is the teaching style like on your course?
Good, enjoyable and lots of information. There is a good mix of practical and theory.

Can you describe a typical day at College?
Straight to lessons, off campus for lunch break and back for afternoon lessons.

How would you describe your College experience so far?
I learnt a lot and it has been a good experience, learning all the time.

What are you hoping to do after College?
Full-time employment with Cox and Allen.

What facilities do you use regularly at the College?
The Construction Workshops.

If you could give one piece of advice to people considering College, what would it be?
Pick a course that YOU want to do, not a course that other people want you to do.
