Why did you choose Kendal College?
I wanted to become a Plumber, and I completed Multiskills last year.
Why did you choose Kendal College?
It is the closest college.
Is college like you had expected. If not, why not?
Yes, it’s very good. It is relaxed not like school, better than school.
What do you most enjoy about College life?
Practical classes, Plumbing.
What opportunities have you had as a student at the college?
We went on a trip to suppliers. I got support from Learning Services.
What is the teaching style like on your course?
Good. There is theory work and practical.
Can you describe a typical day at College?
I arrive at 9am and go to lessons. At break times I meet up with friends, sometimes go out for lunch but if it’s wet I stay in café then back to lessons.
How would you describe your College experience so far?
Very enjoyable. I made new friends.
What are you hoping to do after college?
I have a Plumbing job so I will work for 12 months then return to complete Level 2 Plumbing.
What facilities do you use regularly at the College?
Café and practical workshop.
If you could give one piece of advice to people considering College, what would it be?
Make sure you are on time for class and make sure you have all your equipment needed for class.
