Take on every opportunity you are given and have a chance to push yourself to become the best version of you... but most importantly have fun doing a course you love.

How would you describe your college experience?

College was an unforgettable experience. From someone who never liked education, Kendal college changed my perspective and allowed me to feel confident and grow as a student and a person. The Level 3 Sport course gave me many different connections and allowed me to try new sports that I would’ve never done without going here. In addition, I was a student ambassador, which allowed me to have a say in my college and work with others to promote and support Kendal College.

What have you been up to since completing your studies with us?

Now that I’ve left, I’ve gone into full-time work as a level 2 tennis coach in both Kendal and Ulverston and hope to complete my level 3 in the near future. The college has given me the knowledge and experience to coach many different sports, but I also adapt my coaching so everyone can learn their way.

What advice would you give potential students thinking of studying at Kendal College?

The one piece of advice I’d give to any student going to college is to get stuck in. This is your education for the next how many years, and you want it to be a time you love. Take on every opportunity you are given and have a chance to push yourself to become the best version of yourself. Most importantly, have fun doing a course you love.
