I would highly recommend the college! It is a great start to your career journey! The staff are incredibly supportive and it’s a wonderful place to be part of!

I am working as a primary school teacher and it is so rewarding! I teach a mixed Y1/2 class and I am also a Design Technology and Literacy leader for EYFs and KS1. Getting children passionate about learning! Seeing a child progress and be proud of themselves for their achievements. Some of the skills I developed during my time at college are teamwork, collaboration, communication, creativity, and organisation. I would highly recommend the college! Teaching is such a rewarding job as you can see children flourish and make progress in your care. Everyday is different and it can be challenging at times but organisation, creativity, communication and collaboration are all key skills that I developed whilst on my college journey and placements and are crucial now for being a successful teacher.

I would recommend the Level 3 Children’s Play Learning and Development course as it gives you opportunities to be in a classroom and understand what it is like being in school as well as shadowing and observing different professionals.
