You will gain practical, hands-on experience in a wide variety of repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments across our unique marina and holiday property complex. You will develop real-world skills all while working towards a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification. You’ll be supported by our dedicated team and mentor.

Hours of work:

40 hours per week over a 7 day rota. The role will include some weekend working on a rota basis. Shifts TBC.

Wage:

£15,704 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

You will gain practical, hands-on experience in a wide variety of repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments across our unique marina and holiday property complex. As part of your apprenticeship, you will develop real-world skills in carpentry, plumbing, decorating, health & safety, fault-finding, reactive maintenance, and customer service — all while working towards a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification. You’ll also be supported by our dedicated team and mentor, with structured training to help you grow in confidence and ability.

  • Assist with a variety of repairs including plumbing, joinery, painting, plastering, and general maintenance
  • Learn how to safely use and maintain tools and equipment
  • Support a safe, clean, and functional environment for both regular and holiday guests
  • Work to industry standards of safety, security, and hygiene
  • Take part in regular training and performance reviews to help you grow
  • Learn about grounds maintenance and assist in the upkeep of the Marina
