The successful candidate(s) will have experience cleaning in a busy environment. They will build strong, positive working relationships with a supportive and collaborative team and professional services that share the goal of providing a meaningful educational experience.

They will have excellent organisational and time-management skills and can prioritise work effectively to meet objectives and deadlines. They will be comfortable with and proactively adapt to rapid changes in educational trends within the sector. They will be able to plan and prioritise their work schedule to achieve objectives, have strong IT skills, and be happy to be part of a close-knit team with shared objectives.

An opportunity has arisen at the Westmorland Campus in Kendal town centre for a reliable and motivated person to join the college Cleaning Team. The ideal candidate will help maintain a high level of cleanliness on college premises for staff, students, and visitors at all times.

They will embrace college values, including the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

While this role is based at the Westmorland Campus, the successful applicant may be required at times to work at other College campuses. The role will involve working alongside an existing cleaner on a rota basis.
