College is amazing! You get along with everyone. It’s a mature environment, a genuinely really cool place. Every week, you’re doing something new. New technologies are introduced, new cameras, new techniques. The tutors are great and take you through everything.
Why did you choose to study with us? I chose to attend Kendal College as I felt as if it would fulfil what I was hoping for, when it came to studying a course... I was right. My tutors taught me everything I needed to know before I attended university, and it gave me a huge confidence boost when taking on roles in the industry. I've learnt a wide range of things from how to edit a sequence all the way to how to mix sound for a shoot. I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. I give huge credit for how far I’ve gone to the people I was surrounded by and the people who taught me. I valued their presence a lot. How long had you known what you wanted to do in the future? I knew when I was 14 what I wanted to do, when myself and my friends would make small YouTube skits in our homes! What are your most memorable moments of college? My most memorable moments would be when myself and my crew made a short film called 'Desire'. It was a complete and utter mess but I had a lot of fun during the making of it! What advice would you give to our current students? I’d definitely say to take every opportunity you get, whether it’s a small or big one, paid or unpaid. You’ll be thankful for it in the future! |
