Consistently ranked in the top 5% of UK colleges for learner success rates (for 16-18 year-olds), we are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Learning Services Manager to provide leadership and support to our Learning Services department. You will play a significant role in planning and implementing additional learning support alongside our highly experienced team of SENCOs, learning assistants and mentors. You will also liaise with heads of department and senior leadership to monitor our learners' retention, progress and achievement with additional learning and social needs.
You will lead partnership work with local authorities and external agencies to support high-needs learners' Education & Health Care plans, including negotiating financial contracts. Your experience and knowledge will ensure that all legal and statutory requirements related to SEND legislation are met and that all records are maintained to the correct standard. As Learning Services Manager, you will also manage exam access arrangements by supporting our SENCOs whilst undertaking a personal caseload of this work.
