Are you an experienced Plumber looking for a new challenge? If you have the confidence to share your knowledge and experience with our students, we can train and support you in your exciting new venture.

This post would contribute to the College's contribution to the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) by embracing low-carbon technology in the field.

We are looking for a Plumber with experience working within an industrial or commercial setting and who holds at least a Level 3 vocational qualification. You will be capable of sharing your knowledge with our students in an engaging and informative manner. We would provide support for gaining a formal teaching qualification alongside your work with us and settling into College life. Help with relocation costs can also be considered.

    What we're looking for


    Essential Desirable
    Level 3 vocational qualification in Plumbing Assessor Award
    English and Maths at level 2 (GCSE A* to C or equivalent) IV Award
    A recognised teaching qualification or be willing to obtain within 2 years of appointment


    Essential Desirable
    Experience of working in a relevant industrial/commercial environment Recent experience of teaching in an FE/HE environment
    Gas Safe registered
    An ability to react to changes in demand/curriculum
    Able to work as part of a team
    Strong communication skills both verbal and written
    Full UK driving license
