The Performing Arts department at Kendal College is widely respected throughout the country, with a strong record of propelling talented creative students into performance and creative careers. Course Overview

This 8 week course is for beginners' who want to get fit, stimulate their brain and feet, whilst having a lot of fun learning how to ballroom dance in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

During this course you will be introduced to the most popular styles of ballroom dancing which may include Charleston, Lindy Hop, Tango and Waltz.

This is a great way to build on strength and stamina and to have lots of fun learning classic dance routines for you and your partner. So what's stopping you, grab your trainers and comfy clothes and sign up today!

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, it is suitable for complete beginners with an interest in dance.

After Your Course

If you have enjoyed this course you may be interested in our part-time "'Dance Your Socks Off-Beginners' course or own more advanced Contemporary Dance course at Kendal College.

Fees

£80.00

Course fees are per year for full-time & degree-level courses, and per course for part-time ones. The current full-time & degree-level fee information is related to the 2019/20 academic year and is subject to change before the start of the course. Fees for 2020/21 will be updated in the Spring Term. There may also be additional costs associated with the course.

This course is not funded by the government and is full cost. As such, the course is the price stated for all students. If you are paying for your course, there may be the option to pay by instalments if the course fees are over £200 and the course duration is 15 weeks or more. Please speak to Student Services for more information on course fees.
