Course Overview

On this course, you will gain a Level 1 Award in Cycle Mechanics.

This qualification will give you an introduction to cycle mechanics and a sound understanding in how to carry out some basic repairs. It's relevant if you just want to maintain your own bike better or if you want to take that first step to becoming a professional cycle mechanic.

The course takes place at Mapdec Cycle Works: www.mapdec.com

The mountain bike and road bike course are the same qualification: Level 1 Award in Cycle Mechanics. We are unable to source funding for more than one course of the same qualification per student, and as such there may be a fee, if you would like to complete both courses.

*** Please note, if you would like to do both this course AND Cycle Mechanics (Maintaining Your Mountain Bike), the second course will cost 200 pounds ***
