We are seeking to appoint an individual with the aptitude and ability to undertake a Level 3 apprentice programme, in partnership with Kendal College. The role involves both on and off the job training and gaining experience as an Outdoor Education Tutor. Apprentices are expected to live in.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Learn and develop the necessary skills and experience to deliver safe, high quality outdoor education and training courses for children, young people and adults
- Gain great experience of working in a number of different areas within an Outdoor Education Centre, including maintaining outdoor equipment and supporting venue staff
- Get support to achieve a Level 3 qualification in Activity Leadership
- National Governing Body training and assessment courses included
- Receive in-house training and development
- Board and Lodging in single rooms - free of charge in return for programmed evening and overnight duties
