The chosen applicant will be shown how different types of heating systems work as well as learn how to fit them. They will need to learn how different hot water and cold-water systems are fitted and how they work.

Hours of work:

30 hours per week.

Wage:

£144.30 per week.

  • Working under the direction and guidance of a Gas Engineer, support the delivery of our repairs and maintenance services.
  • Achieve skills and experience to become a fully operational tradesperson.
  • You will learn how to carry out boiler installations, annual servicing, and gas repairs on a wide range of domestic gas boilers and gas appliances.
  • You will learn how to fit radiators / unvented cylinders / LPG installations we will also work on bathrooms and all domestic water installations.
  • You will be expected to have excellent time management, always keep a tidy worksite, know where to find equipment in the van and be confident to restock the van when necessary.
  • Able to work with pipes in both copper and plastic.
  • Always follow health and safety practices at work.
  • Good communication skills for dealing with customers and suppliers are essential.
