We are looking for a dedicated person with practical trade skills to join our diverse Maintenance team at Langdale. The Maintenance team care for both commercial and domestic properties, including our 52-bedroom 4-star hotel, 16-bedroom boutique hotel, Wainwrights Inn, Stove Restaurant, Brimstone Spa and 100 self-catering properties.
We need someone with high standards and a passion for fixing things. A creative problem solving and solution-focused approach as well as being a team player with a focus on excellent customer service skills are very important.
A full driving licence would be helpful but not essential. Hours of work will be 32 based on 4 days spread over 7 on a rolling rota which will include some weekends.

This is a live-out role and due to our location access to your own transport is needed.
General maintenance duties will include:
- Routine daily inspections of hotel systems
- Responding to job cards raised in-house
- Assist with planned maintenance on lodges and hotel
- Fault finding and problem-solving
- Assisting with maintenance of electrical equipment, plumbing and heating, painting, and decorating, furniture etc.
- Assisting with maintenance and safe use of vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Assist with Fire alarm testing
- Some weekend, late fitter and duty fitter shifts
