As an Apprentice Mechanic, your role is to service maintain and repair vehicles to a consistently high standard. This exciting and practical role is ideal for anyone looking to start their career in the Motor Vehicle industry.

We have been serving customers in the Grange-over-Sands area for many years and have an up-to-date fully equipped test centre with all the facilities to service and repair your vehicles. Including computer diagnostic equipment to ensure the work carried out on your vehicle runs as smoothly and as efficiently as possible.

The applicant will be expected to work alongside a trained technician and assist with tasks such as:

  • MOT testing
  • Vehicle servicing
  • Tyre replacements
  • Delivering excellent customer service to clients
  • Working as part of the wider Garage Team
  • Computer diagnostics
  • Air conditioning

Further tasks will be added as your confidence grows and as you progress through your apprenticeship you will be expected to complete many of these tasks unassisted.

Desired qualifications

Future prospects

Once you have completed your apprenticeship you may go on to become a full-time Mechanic/Motor Vehicle Technician or progress to a Level 3 Apprenticeship for the right candidate.
